What is DMLS/SLM?


Direct metal laser sintering (DMLS) or selective laser melting (SLM) are powder bed fusion techniques used for the production of metal parts. To accurately produce parts DMLS/SLM require a significant amount of support to be included on the part during printing. High temperatures result in high levels of stress meaning parts are often susceptible to warping or deformation. This leads to significant post-processing being needed to remove the support and finish the surface where it was attached.

D-150 is the 4th Generation of riton dentistry 3d metal printer.
 
It's a device specially developed for denture production since our company Riton entered the dental industry in 2015. This device fully integrates the denture production process to achieve seamless connection. Until this day, our machine has been put in dental labs and dental studios in more than 30 countries.   1. The equipment occupies a small area (1300x900x1600mm), which is more conducive to the flexible production of dentures.
  2. The powder spreading stroke of the equipment is short, and it only takes 4.5 hours for 200 bottom crowns. Fastest in its class.
  3. The molding bin is small, the inflation time is short, and the personnel only need to wait for 5 minutes.
  4. The fixing method of the forming plate is a magnetic suction type, which does not require manual adjustment of the plate, which effectively prevents the waste from being removed from the plate.
